The time is around 11:42 PM.  The weather is not friendly, with heavy rain, strong winds, and reduced visibility due to thick storm clouds. A commercial airliner, Flight 121 from Peru, is carrying a group of infected people.  The plane struggles to navigate through the intense storm that has engulfed Lagos. The heavy rain pounds against the plane's fuselage, causing turbulence.  The plane's instruments begin to malfunction, and the pilot struggles to maintain control.  With visibility severely reduced, the pilots are forced to make an emergency landing at Murtala Muhammad International Airport.
